La Ofrenda was my final year project for the BA in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths University London. The creative brief was to create a film inspired by another piece of work. We worked in groups of four. The piece of work we got assigned focused on grief and the painful process of losing a loved one. The piece takes inspiration from the Mexican tradition of the day of the dead and is a dynamic blend of live action and stop motion.
